Murray Bridge High School offers a wide range of subjects within the SACE. Subject information can be accessed in the Curriculum Handbook (see link below).

In Year 10, students begin by completing the Personal Learning Plan.

In SACE Stage 1 (Year 11) MBHS students will complete six subjects in each semester of the school year. In addition, they will complete the Research Project in one semester and have a Private Study class in one semester.

In SACE Stage 2 (Year 12) MBHS students must complete a minimum of three full year subjects. If they wish to go to University they may choose to study a minimum of four full year subjects.

Students wishing to go on to further study at University must study subjects which are recognised as Tertiary Admissions Subjects (TAS). Results from these subjects are used to calculate the University Aggregate which is then ranked to produce the Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER). The method for calculating this can be found in the SATAC Tertiary Entrance booklet which is distributed to all Year 10,11 and 12 students each year.
